| Описание: | This dictionary was composed by Ewen MacEachen, a priest from Arisaig and noted Gaelic scholar. It was first published in 1842. There were five subsequent editions. I have kept the dictionary as it appeared in 1842 with minor updating of orthography and meaning. For academic purposes the spelling should be checked against a more modern Gaelic dictionary. ※ NB!
