| Описание: | Communication between Canada and the Soviet Union on problems associated with permafrost has developed significantly in recent years. This has increased the volume of literature available in Russian and created a need for a comprehensive glossary of terms. The Associate Committee on Geotechnical Research is now making the glossary available in an effort to improve the general understanding of Soviet literature. It is a pleasure to acknowledge gratefully the assistance of Mr. Val Poppe and his associate Mr. Greg Belkov in the Translation Services unit of the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information, NRC, in providing an invaluable translation and interpretation service for the dialogue between Canadians and their Soviet colleagues. | ||
